Pagdalo ni VP Leni Robredo sa huling SONA ni Pangulong Duterte via Zoom
Inimbitahan na si Vice President Leni Robredo para saksihan ang huling State of the Nation Address o SONA ni Pangulong Duterte.
Ngunit sinabi ni Barry Gutierrez, ang tagapagsalita sa Office of the Vice President, hindi pinadadalo si Robredo sa Batasang Pambansa sa Lunes, Hulyo 26.
Aniya ang pagdalo ni Robredo ay sa pamamagitan lang ng Zoom tulad noong nakaraang taon.
“VP Leni received the invitation to attend the SONA last Friday. Similar to the previous year, she was not asked to be physically present, but to join via Zoom. She will therefore be attending remotely,” ani Gutierrez.
Reaksyon ito ni Gutierrez sa naging pahayag ni House of Representatives Sec. Gen. Mark Llandro Mendoza na inimbitahan si Robredo na dumalo sa SONA sa Batasang Pambansa at hinihintay na lang nila ang tugon mula sa OVP.
Mula naman sa 50 noong nakaraang taon, 350 ang inimbitahan na magtungo sa Kamara para sa huling SONA ni Pangulong Duterte at kasama dito sina dating Pangulong Gloria Arroyo at ang dalawang dating House speakers na sina Pantaleon Alvarez at Alan Peter Cayetano.
