Mga magpopositibo sa COVID-19 sa Maynila, bawal nang sumailalim sa home quarantine

Ipinag-utos ng Manila Barangay Bureau (MBB) ang lahat ng home quarantine COVID-19 positive patients na agad lumipat sa sa quarantine facilities sa Lungsod ng Maynila.

Inilabas ni MBB Dir. Romeo Bagay ang memorandum noong July 17 matapos ianunsiyo ng Department of Health (DOH) ang pagkaka-detect ng Delta variant sa National Capital Region.

Sinabi ni Bagay na kailangang makipag-ugnayan agad ng mga pasyente sa Manila Health Department at Manila Emergency Operations Center upang agad mapabilis ang paglipat.

Dagdag nito, dapat manatilihin ang istriktong implementasyon ng minimum health protocols.

“In case of refusal and or defiance to this quarantine directive, police assistance may be requested from the nearest MPD station,” saad sa memorandum.

“In line with this, COVID-19 positive patients who resist or defy this quarantine directive may be criminally prosecuted in the proper court for violation of Section 9 (e) ‘Non-cooperation of the person or entitles identified as having the notifiable disease, or affected by the health event of public concern’ of RA 11332 otherwise known as the Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Public Health Concern Act,” dagdag nito.

Ipatutupad din ang mahigpit na pagbabantay sa mga pasyenteng positibo sa nakakahawang sakit base sa nasasakupang lugar ng mga opisyal ng barangay.

Hinikayat din ni Bagay ang lahat ng opisyal ng barangay na magpaturok na ng COVID-19 vaccine sa lalong madaling panahon.
