Villar, nagsagawa ng unang drive-thru sa Estrella-Pantaleon bridge
Nagsagawa si Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar ng unang first drive-thru sa bagong Estrella-Pantaleon Bridge.
Sinabi ng kalihim na kumpleto na at malapit nang buksan ang four-lane 506.46-meter pre-stressed concrete rigid frame bridge sa Pasig River na nagkokonekta sa Mandaluyong at Makati.
Idinisensyo ang bagong tulay na kakayanin ang malakas na lindol.
Sa ngayon, tinatapos ng construction team sa ilalim ng implementation supervision ng DPWH UPMO-Roads Management Cluster 1 ang ancillary works kabilang ang protective barriers at railings, at drainage system sa magkabilang parte nito.
Bahagi ang P1.46-billion Estrella-Pantaleon Bridge ng EDSA decongestion program na magkakaroon din ng bicycle lane.
Inaasahang kayang maserbisyuhan ng nasabing tulay ang 50,000 sasakyan kada araw at bababa sa 12 minuto ang biyahe sa pagitan ng Makati at Mandaluyong.
