Nagbabala ang Food and Drug Administration (FDA) sa publiko na iwasan ang pagbili at pagkain ng BongBong’s Special Piaya.
Ito ay dahil sa hindi rehistrado sa FDA ang naturang produkto.
Ayon sa abiso ng FDA, hindi rin naka-rehistro Sloan’s Food Products Barquillos Short, Mayo Bay Tablea at Ruffa’s Banana Chips.
Sinabi pa ng FDA na wala ring Certificates of Product Registration (CPR) ang mga nabanggit na produkto.
Dahil sa hindi dumaan sa tamang evaluation process ang mga produkto, hindi nakasisiguro ang FDA na ligtas na kainin ang mga ito.
