Tutukuyin ng task force ang mga lugar na kailangang tutukan, kabilang ang pagbisita sa city’s disease surveillance, active case finding at contact tracing capacity; testing capability ng molecular laboratory sa pagproseso ng mga specimens; pag-review sa isolation at quarantine protocols, at status at bed capacity ng HOPE facilities; at kasama rin ang pag-assess sa equipment at manpower resources ng mga ospital sa paghawak sa moderate hanggang severe cases.
Ipinag-utos din sa Task Force Disiplina ang pagpapabilis sa monitoring at inspection para masiguring nasusunod ang minimum health protocols sa lahat ng pampublikong lugar.
Ayon sa OCTA Research Group, umabot na ang positivity rate sa QC sa itinakdang rate ng World Health Organization kung saan masasabing hindi na masyado magkakaroon ng kaso ng nakakahawang sakit.
Sinabi rin ng OCTA na bumaba sa 123 ang average na bilang ng kaso kada araw sa lungsod, mula sa 141 kaso noong nakaraang linggo.
“This is good news for us. We were at 5% a week before the surge happened last February and March. This means that our cases and transmissions are well-monitored and controlled. We hope that this positivity rate shall continue to dip in the coming weeks,” pahayag ni Mayor Joy Belmonte said.
Ani Dr. Guido David, OCTA Research Fellow, nananatiling stable ang mga kaso sa Quezon City, katulad sa iba pang lugar sa Metro Manila.
“We are not seeing an alarming trend but a generally flat trend in NCR. Quezon City is, in fact, one of the local government units with incidence lower than 5 per day,” ani David.
Gayunman, nananatiling mapagmatyag ang QC LGU sa pamamagitan ng extensive testing at aggressive contact tracing.
Binanggit pa ni Belmonte na kinilala ng Department of Health ang Quezon City bilang isa sa mga lungsod na may pinakamaayos na contact tracing efforts.
“We are proud to share this because it has been a continuous effort since day 1. Our army of contact tracers are doing their best to help identify possible infections and this helps in mitigation because eventually, we will be able to test and isolate them,” saad ng alkalde.
