BI: “Vloggers should not overstep their boundaries”

Nagbabala ang Bureau of Immigration (BI) sa mga dayuhang vlogger sa Pilipinas na huwag gumawa ng mga aktibidad na labag sa mga kondisyon ng kanilang pananatili sa bansa.

Naglabas ng paalala si Bureau of Immigration (BI) Commissioner Jaime Morente makaraang mapansin ang ilang videos na nai-post ng dayuhang vloggers sa bansa.

“Online videos of these influencers bring entertainment to many, which could be a source of much-needed relief from the stress brought about by the pandemic,” pahayag ni Morente.

Makatutulong aniya ang vloggers para mapaunlad ang turismo at mas makilala ang magagandang lugar sa bansa.

Ngunit babala nito, “Vlogging should not be used as a means to sell products. Accepting local endorsements, selling products, and engaging in other activities for profit while holding a temporary visitors’ visa is considered a deportable offense.”

“Vloggers should not overstep their boundaries and perform actions only within the activities allowed in their visas,” dagdag ni Morente.

Kapag napatunayang guilty ang sinumang lumabag, maari aniyang ipa-deport at mapabilang sa blacklist sa bansa.
