Pilipinas, kulelat sa global COVID 19 resiliency study

Sa 53 bansa, puwesto na pang-52 ang Pilipinas sa pag-aaral na sumukat sa katatagan sa pagharap sa pandemya dulot ng COVID 19.

Sa inilabas na COVID Resilience Ranking ng Bloomberg, nakakuha ang Pilipinas ng iskor na 45.3 kasunod ang pinakakulelat na Argentina na nakakuha naman ng 37.

Inilabas ang datos noong nakaraang araw ng Linggo.

Nanguna sa listahan ang US na may 76 high resiliency score, sinundan ng 73.7 ng New Zealand, magkatulad na 72.9 ang nakuha ng Switzerland at Israel at pang-lima ang France sa iskor na 72.8.

Ang bumuo sa Top 10 ay ang Spain (72), Australia (70.1), China (69.9), United Kingdom (68.7) at South Korea (68.6).

Kasama naman sa Pilipinas sa ‘Bottom 10; ang ilang katabing bansa gaya ng Malaysia (46.6), Indonesia (48.2), Taiwan (52.1) gayundin ang India (47,7) Colombia (48.6), Pakistan (50.7) Banglad) at Peru (51.4).

Ang iskor ay ibinase sa porsiyento ng mamamayan ng bansa na nabakunahan, ang uri ng lockdown, flight capacity, vaccinated travel routes, one month cases per 100,000 population, one month case fatality rate, total deaths per 1 million people at positivity rate.

“India, the Philippines and some Latin America countries rank lowest amid a perfect storm of variant-driven outbreaks, slow vaccination, and global isolation,” ayon sa Bloomberg.
