Pope Francis labis na nalungkot sa pagpanaw ni dating Pangulong Noynoy
Sa pamamagitan ng telegrama ay ipinarating ni Pope Francis ang kanyang pakikiramay sa sambayanang Filipino dahil sa pagpanaw ni dating Pangulong Noynoy Aquino.
Ang telegrama ay ipinadala kay Pangulong Duterte.
Sa kanyang mensahe, sinabi ng Santo Papa na labis siyang nalungkot sa pagpanaw ni Aquino at aniya naaalala niya ang ginawang pagsisilbi nito sa Pilipinas.
“I commend his soul into the hands of the all merciful God. Upon his family and all who mourn his passing I invoke abundant consolation and peace in the Lord,” sabi ng Santo Papa.
Noong 2015 bumisita sa Pilipinas si Pope Francis at pangulo pa noon ng bansa si Aquino.
Ang mensahe ng pakikiramay ng Santo Papa ay ibinahagi sa publiko ng Catholic Bishop’s Conference of the Philippines (CBCP).
