Highest audit rating, ibinigay sa opisina ni VP Robredo
Sa ikatlong sunod na taon, tinanggap ng opisina ni Vice President Leni Robredo ang pinakamataas na ‘audit rating’ dahil sa maayos na paggamit ng kanilang pondo.
Ang ‘unqualified opinion’ na ibinigay muli ng Commission on Audit sa Office of the Vice President ay kasama sa Independent Auditor’s Report na may petsang Hunyo 15.
Ang ‘unqualified opinion’ ang itinuturing na ‘best opinion’ na maaring maibagay ng COA sa isang tanggapan o ahensiya ng gobyerno.
“In our opinion, the accompanying financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of OVP as (of) December 31, 2020, and its financial performance, statement of cash flows, statement of changes in net assets/equity, statement of comparison of budget and actual amounts for the year then ended, and notes to the financial statements, including a summary of significant accounting policies in accordance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSASs),” ayon sa COA report.
Sinabi naman ni Robredo ang pagkilala ng COA ay bunga ng pagtutulungan at pagkakaisa ng kanyang mga tauhan, gayundin aniya, susundin nila ang mga payo at suhestiyon para mas mapagbuti pa nila ang paggamit ng kanilang pondo.
“Mahalaga ang recognition na ito dahil patunay siya sa pagpapahalaga natin sa pagsasaayos ng ating mga sistema, lalo pagdating sa maayos na paggamit ng pera ng bayan,” sabi ni Robredo.
