Access ramps sa Binondo-Intramuros bridge, isinasagawa na

Inanunsiyo ni Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar na sinimulan na ang pagsasagawa ng access ramps para sa Binondo-Intramuros Bridge Project.

Sinabi ng kalihim na puspusan ang civil work activities sa ramps at viaduct structure upang maabot ang target na bridge substantial completion sa December 2021.

Sinabi ni Undersecretary for Unified Project Management Office (UPMO) Operations Emil Sadain na 70 porsyento nang kumpleto ang 70-meter Main Bridge na may steel arch ay support steel bowstring sa Pasig River.

Inaasahan namang darating sa bansa ang fabricated steel box girders, na gagamitin para sa viaduct at ramp sa Estero de Binondo, mula China sa August 2021.

Sa pamamagitan ng P3.39-billion Binondo-Intramuros Bridge Project, makokonekta na ang Binondo at Intramuros sa Manila.

Patuloy namang nakikipag-ugnayan ang kagawaran at ang contractor sa Meralco at Telco para sa kanilang linya sa Dasmariñas Bridge.

Oras na matapos ang proyekto, inaasahang maa-accommodate nito ang 30,000 sasakyan kada araw.

Makatutulong din ang proyekto para sa maiwasan ang pagsisikip ng trapiko sa Jones, Delpan at MacAthur Bridge.
