Bukas si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na tumakbong bise presidente sa 2022 national elections.
Ayon sa Pangulo, hindi naman masamang ideya ang maging bise presidente.
“Mayroon ako ditong dinagdag, running for vice president, ako. Ah sabihin ko it’s not at all a bad idea and if there is a space for me there, siguro. Pero kung wala akong space, everybody is crowding up wanting to be one, vice president, sila na lang muna kasi tapos na ako eh,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
Ayon sa Pangulo, mayroon pa siyang mga programa na nais sanang ipagpatuloy.
“But there are things I’d like to continue and that would be dependent on also of the president that I will support. Kasi kung mag-vice president ako then kala..”’ pahayag ng Pangulo.
Matatandaang una nang sinabi ng Pangulo na susuportahan niya ang kandidatura ni House Majority Leader at Leyte Congressman Martin Romualdez kung tatakbong bise presidente ng bansa sa susunod na eleksyon.
