P1.2-M halaga ng marijuana, nakumpiska sa isang sasakyan sa Isabela

Naharang ng mga awtoridad ang isang sasakyan na may dalang pinatuyong dahon na hinihinalang marijuana sa Quezon, Isabela.

Hinabol at naharang ang kulay gray na Toyota Vios na may plang  NDE 9548 sa bahagi ng Barangay Alunan noong June 27, 2021.

Ayon kay Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Police General Guillermo Eleazar, nakatanggap ng impormasyon ang Rizal MPS, Kalinga PPO na bumili ang naturang sasakyan ng marijuana leaves sa Tabuk City, Kalinga.

Agad nagpunta ang Rizal MPS police sa kanilang Quarantine Control Point kung saan padaan ang kotse.

“Our local police signaled the driver to stop but ignored the checkpoint and accelerated towards Abbut, Quezon, Isabela. Immediately, they conducted hot pursuit and informed PTOC Kalinga and nearby MPS for a dragnet/chokepoint operation,” pahayag ni Eleazar.

Dakong 2:10 ng hapon, naaresto ang mga suspek na sina Jerwin Lipalam, 24-anyos; Jayson Pallares Tresmil, 24-anyos; Alvin Lampag Guiab, 20-anyos; at alyas “Marco,” 17-anyos.

Nakumpiska ng mg awtoridad ang 10 bloke ng marijuana dried leaves at stalks na tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng P1,200,000.

Nakuha rin sa mga suspek ang isang unit ng Toyota Vios na may PN: NDE 9548; isang unit ng cal. 38 rev na walang serial number at limang bala nito; isang cellphone; isang Sagada bag at isang sling bag.

“Our campaign against illegal drugs remains unrelenting as we implement the Intensified Cleanliness Policy of the PNP. We remain aggressive and is always on top of the situation to stop drug proliferation in the country,” dagdag ng PNP Chief.
