Pangulong Duterte, hindi pa naturukan ng second dose ng COVID-19 vaccine; Durante, “mistakenly informed” – Roque
Inihayag ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang na hindi pa natuturukan ng second dose ng bakuna kontra sa COVID-19 si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Ito ang ginawang paglilinaw ni Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque matapos ang pahayag ni Presidential Security Group (PSG) chief Jesus Durante III sa vaccination ng Pangulo.
Unang sinabi ni Durante na nakatanggap na ng second dose ng COVID-19 vaccine na gawa ng Sinopharm ang Pangulo 14 araw matapos maturukan ng unang dose noong May 3.
“Gen. Durante was mistakenly informed by his medical staff that a second dose was already administered to the President,” saad ni Roque.
“Further, Gen. Durante has admitted, apologized and rectified his earlier remarks,” dagdag nito.
Matatandaang wala pang inilalabas na emergency use authorization (EUA) ang Food and Drug Administration (FDA) nang makatanggap ang Pangulo ng unang dose ng Sinopharm vaccine.
