Apat na farm-to-market roads sa Southern Leyte, nakatakdang matapos sa Agosto

Target ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) na matapos sa buwan ng Agosto ang konstruksyon ng apat na farm-to-market (FMR) roads sa Southern Leyte.

Layon nitong mapabilis ang transportasyon ng mga produkto sa mga pamilihan at upang tumaas ang agricultural productivity sa mga barangay sa probinsya.

Sinabi ni DPWH Secretary Mark Villar na kabilang sa mga malapit nang matapos na proyekto ang pagsasaayos ng mga kalsada sa Barangay Esperanza, Bontoc; Barangays Nati at Bato II sa Maasin City; Barangay Nahulid sa Libagon; at Barangays Tagup-on at Kagingkingan sa Anahawan.

“Aside from farmers, other locals in these communities will benefit from concrete roads with easier access to health centers and schools,” pahayag ni Villar.

Ang implementasyon ng FMRs ay nasa ilalim ng DPWH Southern Leyte District Engineering Office.
