Daan-daang milyong pisong utang sa mga ospital pinababayaran na sa Philhealth ni Sen. Grace Poe
Pinamamadali na ni Senator Grace Poe sa Philhealth ang pagbabayad ng kanilang utang sa daan-daang ostial sa bansa.
Nangangamba si Poe na kapag hindi agad nagbayad ang Philhealth malalagay sa alanganin ang ginagawang pagtugon sa COVID 19.
“PhilHealth should pay up. Hospitals are battlegrounds in this fight against COVID-19. They need what’s due to them, especially in this time when a number of them are overwhelmed with patients due to the recent surge of infections,” katuwiran ng senadora.
Binanggit nito na sa mga ospital at laboratory sa Western Visayas Region, ang utang ng Philhealth ay higit P800 milyon na at kabilang ito sa mga isyu na ipinarating na sa pambansang gobyerno.
Pagdidiin ni Poe napakahalaga na mabayaran ang mga ospital para sa pagtugon sa pangangailangan at paggamot sa mga pasyente, COVID 19 man o hindi ang sakit.
Hiniling din nito sa Philhealth ang ipinapatupad na Debit-Credit Payment Method, na sinimulan noong Abril, kung talagang nakakatugon sa dapat na mabilis na reimbursement sa mga ospital.
