Pangulong Duterte, idineklara ang June 24 – July 3 bilang Period of National Mourning sa pagpanaw ni ex-Pres. Noynoy Aquino
Idineklara ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang 10 araw na Period of National Mourning sa pagpanaw ni dating Pangulong Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.
Ayon kay Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, pinirmahan ni Duterte ang Proclamation No. 1169 para sa deklarasyon ng Period of National Mourning mula June 24 hanggang July 3, 2021.
Kasunod nito, ilalagay sa half-mast ang watawat ng Pilipinas mula sa pagsikat at paglubog ng araw sa lahat ng government buildings at installations sa bansa at abroad sa loob ng 10 araw.
“Let us continue to pray and pat respects to the former President who gace his best to serve our nation and out people,” saad ni Roque.
Si Aquino ang ika-15 Pangulo ng bansa at nagsilbi sa nasabing posisyon mula 2010 hanggang 2016.
