Kamara nagdadalamhati sa pagpanaw ni dating Pangulong Noynoy Aquino
Kasunod ng Senado, inilagay na rin sa half-mast ang watawat ng Pilipinas sa Mababang Kapulungan sa Batasang Pambansa complex bilang pagdadalamhati sa pagpanaw ni dating Pangulong Noynoy Aquino.
Naging miyembro ng Kamara si Aquino mula 1998 hanggang 2007 bilang kinatawan ng ikalawang distrito ng Tarlac.
“A man who dedicated his service to the country,” ang pagsasalarawan ni House Speaker Lord Allan Velasco kay Aquino.
“We are saddened to learn of the passing of former President Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III. The entire House of Representatives would like to extend its heartfelt sympathies and condolences to his family, friends and colleagues at this difficult time,” ang mababasa din sa inilabas na pahayag ni Velasco.
Sa hiwalay na mensahe ni House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez sinabi nito na ‘man of integrity’ si Aquino at naging pangunahing misyon nito ang pagbabago para sa mabuti at maayos na pamamahala sa gobyerno.
“We extend our condolences to his family and loved ones. May you find peace in knowing that he is now back to the loving embrace of our Father. Rest now former President Aquino,” dagdag pa ni Romualdez.
