Sen. Ping Lacson sa mamamayan: Higit sa takot na makulong, pabakuna na lang kayo!
Matapos magbanta si Pangulong Duterte na posibleng arestuhin ang mga tatanggi na magpabakuna, nagbilin si Senator Panfilo Lacson sa taumbayan na magpaturok na lang ng proteksyon laban sa COVID 19.
Ngunit sinabi ni Lacson na ang pagpapabakuna ay hindi dahil sa takot na maaresto, kundi dahil pinahahalagahan nila ang kanilang sarili at kapwa.
“We should get vaccinated not so much due to the fear of being arrested if we refuse, but because we have the Bayanihan spirit: we want to do our part to protect those around us, we want to do our part to achieve herd immunity, and we want to do our part to finally end the threat posed by the pandemic on our health and on our economy,” aniya.
Sinabi ng senador na ang pinakamagandang gagawin ay pagtiwalaan ang bakuna at magpabakuna at gawin ng gobyerno ng mas maayos ang kanilang mandato.
“For the people, this means trusting the vaccination process and helping achieve herd immunity early, so the economy can recover. For government, this means being transparent and exercising restraint in spending our already severely limited resources,” sabi pa ni Lacson.
Noong Lunes ng gabi, sinabi ni Pangulong Duterte na maaring arestuhin ang mga Filipino na matitigas ang ulo at ayaw magpabakuna.
