Nasamsam ng Manila Police District (MPD) ang 8.533 kilo ng shabu sa ikinasang buy-bust operation sa Imus, Cavite.
Ayon kay Mayor Isko Moreno, tinatayang aabot sa P58,024,000 ang halaga ng nahuling ipinagbabawal na gamot.
Sanib-pwersa sa operasyon ang MPD Drug Enforcement Unit, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Cavite Provincial Police Office at Imus Municipal Police Station.
Sinabi rin alkalde na limang drug suspects ang naaresto sa operasyon dahil sa paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Maliban dito, kakasuhin din ang lima dahil sa illegal posession of firearms and ammunition sa ilalim ng Republic Act No. 10591.
