Pormal nang naitalaga bilang ika-siyam na Cardinal ng Pilipinas si Jose Cardinal Advincula.

Ito ay matapos ang bestowal ceremony na ginanap kahapon sa Immaculate Conception Metropolitan Cathedral sa Roxas, Capiz.

Mismong si Papal Nuncio to the Philippines Archbishop John Brown ang naglagay ng red biretta o cardinal hat at cardinal ring kay Cardinal Advincula.

Matatandaang dalawang beses nang na-postponed ang bestowal ceremony ni Cardinal Advincula dahil sa pandemya sa COVID-19.

Bukod sa pagiging bagong Cardinal, itinalaga rin si Cardinal Advincula
