Pansamantalang sinuspendi ng Department of Labor and Employment ang pagpapadala ng mga overseas Filipino workers sa Oman.
Ayon kay Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III, ito ay matapos isama ng Oman ang Pilipinas sa travel ban.
Sinabi pa ni Bello na nakatanggap na ng komunikasyon ang kanilang hanay mula sa Department of Foreign Affairs na mayroong travel ban.
Dahil dito, nagpasya aniya ang Pilipinas na pansamantalang itigil muna ang pagpapadala ng mga OFW sa Oman.
Hindi naman tinukoy ni Bello ang rason at kung kailan magiging epektibo ang suspensyon ng deployment.
