2 arestado matapos mahulihan ng droga sa Cebu City
Naaresto ng mga tauhan ng PDEA RO7 – Regional Special Enforcement Team at Intelligence Investigation Section ang dalawang drug suspect sa magkahiwalay na operasyon sa Cebu City.
Unang isinagawa ang buy-bust operation sa bahagi ng J. De Veyra Street, Sitio Kalinaw sa Barangay Carreta dakong 7:35, Martes ng gabi (June 15).
Nagresulta ang operasyon sa pagkakaaresto kay Joven Abella, 40-anyos, makaraang makumpiska ang dalawang packs ng hinihinalang shabu sa may estimated market value na P544, buy-bust money, at identification card nito.
Sumunod na araw dakong 8:30 ng gabi, nahuli naman si Philip Ata, 38-anyos, sa Barangay Duljo Fatima.
Anim na pack ng hinihinalang shabu na nagkakahalaga ng P34,000, buy-bust money, at iba pang drug paraphernalia ang nakuha sa suspek.
Iniulat ang parehong drug suspect ng ilang concerned citizens sa “Isumbong Mo Kay Wilkins” social media platform ng PDEA.
Mahaharap ang dalawa sa kasong paglabag sa Section 5, Article 2 ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
