Pfizer, Moderna COVID 19 vaccines baka ipagbili na simula sa Setyembre
Ibinahagi ni vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr., na maaring simula sa darating na Setyembre ay maging ‘commercially available’ na ang COVID 19 vaccines na gawa ng Pfizer at Moderna.
Aniya ang dalawang manufacturers, ang Moderna, Inc. at Pfizer-BioNTech ay nag-apply na ng ‘full authorization status’ mula sa World Health Organization (WHO).
Paliwanag niya ang mga bakuna na may ‘full authorization status’ mula sa WHO ay maaari nang direktang ipagbili sa mga konsyumer o bilhin sa mga pribadong kompaniya.
“Moderna and Pfizer are now applying for full authorization. They might be open commercially by September or October,” sabi ni Galvez.
Sa ngayon, tanging emergency use authorization lang mula sa Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ang hawak ng mga itinuturok na COVID 19 vaccines sa bansa.
Nangangahulugan na ang lahat ng bakuna ay mula sa gobyerno at libre kayat hindi maaring ipagbili sa publiko.
