Paggasta sa inilaan na P82.5B vaccination program fund bubusisiin ng Senate Committee of the Whole
Sa darating na Martes, Hunyo 15, magsasagawa ng pagdinig ang Senate Committee of the Whole para masuri ang paggasta ng gobyerno sa nailaan na P82.5 bilyon sa vaccination program.
Ito ang sinabi ni Sen. Panfilo Lacson, na nakipagpulong kina testing czar Vince Dizon at contact tracing czar Benjamin Magalong noong Huwebes ng gabi kasama sina Senate President Vicente Sotto III at Sen. Ronald dela Rosa.
Dagdag pa ni Lacson sa mangyayaring pagdinig ay susuriin din ang pinaiiral na protocols at guidelines ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF).
Aniya pinayuhan nila sina Dizon at Magalong na igiit kung ano ang sa mga tingin ay tama at kung magagawa nilang suwayin ang kanilang mga opisyal para maipatupad ang kanilang posisyon.
Puna ni Lacson kay vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr., masyado itong pasensiyoso para punahin ang mga mali.
“It’s very important that our people will trust the vaccines. Our people should get the jab done and the government should get the job done. If people see shortcomings or lapses on the part of the government, how could you improve people’s trust in vaccines?” dagdag pa nito.
