100,000 doses ng made in Russia COVID 19 vaccines dumating

Pasado alas-10:32 kagabi nang lumapag sa NAIA Terminal 3 ang pang-apat na batch ng Sputnik V COVID 19 vaccines.

Ang mga bagong dating na bakuna ay isinakay sa Qatar Airways flight QR928 ay sinalubong nina vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. at Russian Ambassador to the Philippines Marat Pavlov.

At dahil sa pagiging sensitibo ng mga bakuna sa temperature ay agad dinala ang mga ito sa cold storage facility ng Pharmaserv Express inc. sa Marikina City.

Ito rin ang sinabi ni Galvez kayat ang mga made in Russia vaccines ay ipamamahagi lang sa mga lokal na pamahalaan sa NCR Plus 8.

“Because of the sensitivity of its cold chain requirement, it will be given to NCR-plus 8. We will also allot some supplies to cities like Baguio and those which have cold chain solution,” ani Galvez.

Pagtitiyak pa ni Galvez na mabibigyan ng bakuna ang mga lugar sa Visayas at Mindanao na nakakaranas ng paglobo ng bilang ng COVID 19 cases.

Kabuuang 180,000 Sputnik V doses ang dumating na sa bansa simula noong Mayo 1.
