Apela ni Mayor Belmonte sa mga negosyante; Istriktong gamitin ang Kyusipass

Umapela si Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte sa mga negosyante sa lungsod na istrikstong gamitin ang Kyusipass.

Ang Kyusipass ang contact tracing app sa ilalim ng Safepass, na ginagamit bago makapasok ang mga customer sa mga establisyemento.

Sa ulat ng QC Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (QC-CESU) base sa datos mula sa Kyusipass mula May 7 hanggang May 31, 2021, mayroong 22,315 katao na maaring na-expose sa 119 COVID-19 positive individuals.

“Dito natin makikita kung gaano ka-epektibo ang Kyusipass. After the contact tracers’ interview with our positive cases, we were able to trace these people who visited the exposure site an hour before and an hour after our confirmed case’s visit within his most infectious period,” paliwanag ng alkalde.

Nagpapadala ang CESU ng notification sa mga indibiduwal na nagkaroon ng exposure at hinikayat ang mga ito na agad mag-report, lalo na kung nakararanas ng sintomas ng COVID-19.

Karamihan sa mga kumpirmadong kaso ay bumisita sa mga establisyemento tulad ng groceries, supermarkets, malls at corporate offices.

Ani Belmonte, pinapadali ng Kyusipass ang data management at makatutulong para mabilis na ma-trace ang mga na-expose na indibiduwal.

“That is why establishments should have KyusiPass and we encourage our citizens to make use of this app,” dagdag nito.

Bukod dito, alinsunod sa Quezon City Ordinance 3019-2021 o KyusiPass Ordinance, mandato ng 80,000 business establishments sa lungsod na mag-set up ng KyusiPass QR code o magbigay ng QR code scanner sa kanilang entrance.

Siniguro naman ni QC-CESU chief Dr. Rolly Cruz sa mga publiko na walang dapat ikabahala sa data privacy.

“Establishments will not be able to access their visitors’ data. Only CESU is authorized to secure this information and this will only be retrieved when contact tracing is needed,” ani Cruz.

Isa ang Kyusipass sa mga requirement upang magkaroon ng Safety Seal.
