Agad sinimulan ang pag-aalis ng mga obstruction at paglilinis sa ilalim ng mga flyover sa EDSA.
Kasunod ito ng direktiba ni Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Benhur Abalos na magsagawa ng clearing operations matapos ang inspecksyon sa ilang flyover, araw ng Martes.
Hinakot ng Metro Parkways Clearing Group (MPCG) and Road Emergency Group (REG) ang lahat ng kalat at obstruksyon, kabilang ang mga abandonado, luma at kinakalawang na mga sasakyan.
Inalis din ang mga barong-barong ng street dwellers, nakatambak na concrete at plastic barrier, fence, at trapal sa Timog at Kamuning flyover.
Apela ni Abalos sa mga motorista, iwasan ang pagpaparada sa ground level ng flyovers.
Maglalagay na ng ‘no parking’ at ‘tow away’ signages sa mga nasabing lugar.
