AFP, PNP magsasampa ng kaso vs NPA na responsable sa pagkamatay ng 2 sibilyan sa Masbate blast

Magsasampa ng kaso ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at Philippine National Police (PNP) laban sa mga miyembro ng New People’s Army (NPA) na responsable sa landmine explosion sa Masbate City.

Nasawi sa pagsabog sa bahagi ng Barangay Anas ang football player na si Kieth Absalon at kaniyang pinsan na si Nolven Absalon.

Tiniyak ni AFP spokesperson Maj. Gen. Edgard Arevalo sa mga kaanak ng mga biktima na mabibigyan ng hustisya ang pagpanaw ng mga ito.

Sinabi ni Arevalo na nilabag ng NPA ang Republic Act 9851 o “Philippine Act on Crimes Against International Humanitarian Law, Genocide and Other Crimes Against Humanity”.

Inako naman ng Communist Party of the Philippines ang responsibilidad sa insidente.
