Duterte, hinimok ang mga nakatanggap ng 1st dose ng COVID-19 vaccine na magpaturok ng 2nd dose

Hinimok ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang mga nakatanggap na ng first dose ng COVID-19 vaccine na magpaturok na ng kanilang second dose.

Sa kaniyang public address, Lunes ng gabi (June 7), sinabi ng Pangulo na kailangan ng booster sa naunang itinurok na bakuna bilang proteksyon sa nakakahawang sakit.

“Ang problema dito, ‘yung nabakunahan na sa first injection inyo, kailangan kayo ng booster, a second injection. Please find time to go back and line there, line up and show your [vaccination] card so that they would know you are receiving the second dose,” saad ni Duterte.

Giit ng Pangulo, hindi kumpleto ang mabibigay na proteksyon ng bakuna kung walang booster o second dose.

“You find time at your own convenience na bumalik doon, pumila at magpabakuna, ‘yun ang magbigay sa inyo ng good protection,” saad nito.

Kasunod nito, ipinag-utos ng Punong Ehekutibo sa mga local government unit (LGU) na hanapin ang mga indibiduwal na hindi pa nakakapagpaturok ng second dose ng COVID-19 vaccine.

“Kindly help us ferret out persons who have not received the booster until now,” aniya.

Ani Duterte, kahit na naturukan na ng bakuna, sumunod pa rin sa health protocols tulad ng paghuhugas ng kamay, pagsusuot ng face mask, at social distancing.
