DOH, nagbabala vs kumakalat na email ukol sa COVID-19 benefit package para sa health workers

Nagbabala sa publiko ang Department of Health (DOH) laban sa kumakalat na email ukol sa COVID-19 benefit packages gamit ang email address na “[email protected]”.

“While there are existing benefit packages for healthcare workers, DOH will not send individual emails to sign up for these,” pahayag nito.

Ayon sa kagawaran, ang nabanggit ay hindi opisyal na email address ng DOH o ng mga empleyado nito.

Sinabi rin ng DOH na hindi sila at ang Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) magpapadala ng anumang email para hikayatin ang lahat ng healthcare at hospital workers na mag-register upang makatanggap ng COVID-19 benefit package.

Wala rin anilang DOH-IATF COVID Task Force National Center for Health, kung saan ginamit sa email signoff.

Ayon pa sa kagawaran, hindi kinikilala ang link na naka-attach sa naturang email na: www.doh.gov-org/coronavirus/2019-nCoV/newcases-cities.html.

“Futhermore, we discourage individuals or groups from creating, perpetrating or spreading false information regarding the COVID-19 crisis on social media and other platforms,” pahayag nito.

Hinikayat naman ang publiko na maging mapagmatyag laban sa mga pekeng email at magbatay lamang ang mga beripikadong impormasyon mula sa mga mapagkakatiwalaang source, tulad ng DOH Facebook page at website.

Dagdag ng kagawaran, agad i-report ang mga maling impormasyon na makikita online sa pamamagitan ng KIRA Chatbot ng DOH na maaaring ma-access sa Viber o Messenger.
