Albay, isinailalim sa GCQ dahil sa pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19
Isinailalim sa General Community Quarantine (GCQ) ang halos lahat ng lungsod at bayan sa Albay.
Sa Executive Order No. 16, series of 2021 ni Albay Governor Al Francis Bichara, ito ay base sa inilabas na report ng Department of Health Bicol Center for Health Development kung saan makikita ang patuloy na pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19 sa naturang probinsya, kung kaya inamyendahan ang EO no. 14 na inilabas noong May 31.
Napagkasunduan ng Bicol Inter-Agency Task Force at local chief executives na isinailalim sa GCQ ang lahat ng lungsod at munisipalidad sa Albay, maliban lamang sa Jovellar at Rapu-Rapu, hanggang June 15, 2021.
Kasunod nito, ipinag-utos sa lahat ng local government units sa nasabing probinsya na magpatupad ng mas istriktong health protocols alinsunod sa huling Omnibus Guidelines noong May 20, 2021 na inilabas ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases ukol sa General Community Quarantine category.
Sa pag-iral ng GCQ, bawal lumabas ng bahay ang mga 18-anyos pababa, 65-anyos pataas at buntis, maliban na lamang kung may kailangang bilhin o serbisyo.
Ipatutupad ang 50/50 split sa pagitan ng work-from-home at on-site capacity ng mga pampubliko at pribadong establisyemento.
