P2.5 bilyong contingency fund ng OP gagamitin para ibili ng COVID-19 vaccines
Inaprubahan na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang pagri-release ng P2.5 bilyong pondo para ipangbili ng dagdag na COVID-19 vaccines.
Ayon kay Budget Secretary Wendel Avisado, galing ang pondo sa contingency fund sa Office of the President.
Ayon kay Avisaado, gagamitin ang pondo para ipangbayad sa apat na milyong doses ng vaccines pati na sa logistical at administrative cost.
Dagdag ng kalihim, nagpalabas na siya ng special allotment release order at notice of cash allocation sa Department of Health.
Sinabi pa ni Avisado na hindi lang P82.5 bilyon ang gagastusin para sa pagbili ng mga bakuna kundi pati na ang contingency fund ay kinakailangan nang gamitin.
