Business sector, hinikayat ng DOLE na kumuha ng safety seal
Maari nang mag-apply ang mga pribadong establisyemento ng safety certification para makumpirma ang pagsunod sa minimum public health standards na itinakda ng gobyerno.
Ayon kay Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III, ang pagkakaroon ng safety seal ang makakapagpatunay sa publiko na sinusunod ng mga negosyo ang health protocols, tulad ng social distancing at paggamit ng contact-tracing application, tulad ng StaySafe.PH.
“With the safety seal certification program in place, we are assuring the public, especially our workers, that they are safe and protected outside their homes, even if we allow our economy to fully reopen,” pahayag ng kalihim.
Hinikayat nito ang mga may-ari ng negosyo na mag-apply para sa safety certification.
“While the application is voluntary, I highly encourage our private business owners to seek for the safety certification to help increase public confidence,” giit nito.
Maglalabas ang kagawaran ng naturang sertipikasyon sa mga establisyemento sa manufacturing, construction, utilities, information and communication, at warehousing industries.
Samantala, sinabi naman ni Labor Assistant Secretary at Bureau of Working Conditions Director Ma. Teresita Cucueco na makatutulong din ang safety seal upang tumaas ang kumpiyansa ng mga empleyado ukol sa kanilang kaligtasan sa gitna ng trabaho.
Upang matiyak ang istrikto at tuluy-tuloy na pagsunod sa health protocols, epektibo ang sertipikasyon nang anim na buwan mula nang ilabas ito.
Para naman sa tourism establishments, epektibo ang sertipikasyon nang isang taon at kailangang i-renew isang buwan bago ito mapaso.
