Overall progress ng Metro Davao Bike Lane Network Project, nasa 81 porsyento na – DOTr
Itinutulak ng DOTr Road Sector – Active Transport Team, katuwang ang Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Region 11, na matapos na ang konstruksyon ng Metropolitan Bike Lane Network sa Davao City.
Kasunod ito ng gabay ni Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade upang itaguyod ang active transportation bilang isa sa pangunahing paraan ng pagbiyahe.
Nag-inspeksyon ang kagawaran sa isinasagawang konstruksyon ng 54.51-kilometer Metro Davao Bike Lane Network Project noong nakaraang linggo.
Layon ng proyekto na maikonekta sa activity areas sa Davao sa pamamagitan ng pagdadagdag ng access at pagbibigay ng ligtas na imprastraktura para sa mga motorista.
Sa datos hanggang May 28, nasa 81 porsyento na ang overall progress ng Metro Davao Bike Lane Network Project o kabuuang 46.15 kilometro ng bike lanes.
Inaasahang makukumpleto ang proyekto sa ikalawang linggo ng Hunyo.
Ang naturang proyekto ay pinondohan sa ilalim ng Bayanihan to Recover as One Act of 2020 (RA 11494).
