COVID 19 vaccination program hiniling ni Sen. Joel Villanueva na masuri ng Kongreso
Umapila na si Senator Joel Villanueva sa mga kapwa mambabatas na pulungin ang joint oversight committee para masuri ang ikinakasang COVID 19 vaccination program ng gobyerno.
Ginawa ni Villanueva ang apila kasabay ika-100 araw ng vaccine rollout sa darating na June 9.
“June 9 will be the 100th day. It would be better if the oversight committee convenes on that day to review what has been achieved, or not, so far,” sabi ng senador.
Pagdidiin niya napakahalaga ng pagsasagawa ng assessment dahil sa pandaigdigang problema sa produksyon ng mga bakuna, ang mabagal na pagpapabakuna at ang pagsirit ng mga kaso sa ilang lugar.
Aniya ang mga nabanggit na isyu ay makakaapekto sa distribusyon ng bakuna sa bansa.
Base sa RA 11525 o COVID 19 Vaccination Program Act, ang oversight panel ay bubuuin ng tig-apat na miyembro ng Senado at Kamara.
