Sec. Villar, nagpaabot ng tulong sa mga biktima ng sunog sa Maynila

Nagpaabot ng tulong si Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar sa mga apektadong pamilya ng sumiklab na sunog sa Port Area, Manila.

Sa pamamagitan ng Villar Sipag Foundation, nag-donate ang kalihim ng 1,000 bags ng grocery items para sa mga pamilyang nawalan ng tirahan.

Ani Villar, karamihan sa mga apektadong residente ay matindi ring nakararanas ng pagsubok dulot ng epekto sa ekonomiya ng COVID-19 pandemic.

“With houses made of light materials gutted leaving a thousand families homeless, the best thing to do to support communities who suffer from disaster is to show Filipino compassion and help however we can that would give them peace of mind having something to eat,” pahayag ni Secretary Villar.

Dinala ang mga donasyong grocery item sa Barangay Chairman Salik Arongo para maipamahagi sa mga pamilya noong Lunes, May 31.

Sumiklab ang sunog sa bahagi ng 11th Street Railroad Drive noong May 26.
