De Lima sa Duterte administration: Lumang tugtugin na ang ‘Its destiny’

Nagbabala si Senator Leila de Lima sa mga ginagawang hakbang ng kampo ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte para magparamdam na para sa eleksyon sa susunod na taon.

Sinabi ni de Lima na ginagawa na muli ng mga kaalyado ni Duterte ang ginawa nilang taktika para sa 2016 presidential election.

“Here they go again. Kunwari, it’s ‘destiny’ or if the ‘clamor’ is ‘strong’, blah blah blah. But we’re no fools to not see that it’s exactly what they’re cooking now — a Duterte-Duterte or Go-Duterte tandem for 2022. Resist we must!” sabi ng senadora.

Bago ito, sinabi ni Presidential spokesman Harry Roque na ipinasa-Diyos na ni Pangulong Duterte kung siya ay tatakbo sa pagka-pangalawang pangulo sa 2022 elections.

Sinundan pa ito aniya ng pahayag ni Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo na maaring maging ka-tandem ni Pangulong Duterte ang anak na si Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte – Carpio o si Sen. Bong Go.

Babala ni de Lima, ang basbas ni Pangulong Duterte ay maaring maging ‘kiss of death.’

“The 2022 elections will not only be about Duterte’s treason and the Chinese invasion of the WPS and our territories there. It will also be about poverty, the economy, and providing opportunities to the lot of impoverished Filipinos made worse by this administration’s bungling of the pandemic response,” dagdag pa ni de Lima.
