QCPD, nakitang walang nilabag na health protocol si Pumaren sa community pantry program

Nakita ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD) na walang nilabag na health protocol si Councilor Franz Pumaren kaugnay ng community pantry na inorganisa sa Barangay Old Balara noong Martes, noong May 25.

Sinabi ng Batasan Police Station 6 na nagkaroon ng maayos na koordinasyon si Pumaren sa mga ahensya ng gobyerno, kabilang ang QCPD, Batasan Police Station 6 at opisina ni Old Balara chairman Allan Franza.

Humingi rin anila ng tulong si Pumaren para mapanatili ang maayos na daloy ng trapiko at safety health protocols.

Nasa 97 katao, kabilang ang 11 pulis at 50 staff members ng opisina ni Pumaren, ang nagmanman sa lugar upang masiguro ang safety health protocols, base sa ulat ng QCPD.

Nabanggit pa nito na naipatupad ang health protocols tulad ng pagsusuot ng face mask, face shield, at social distancing kahit maraming residente ang pumunta sa community pantry.

“Considering the number of persons in the area, it would seem like there was a violation of social distancing if pictures or videos were taken. However, if there are violators, they were immediately accosted and informed of their violation,” saad sa report.

Sinabi pa ng QCPD na payapang natapos ang aktibidad hanggang 9:00 ng gabi, wala ring napaulat na health incident o anumang problema.

Matatandaang naglabas si Mayor Joy Belmonte ng show-cause order kay Pumaren, Majority Floor Leader ng Quezon City Council, upang magpaliwanag sa naturang aktibidad.

Paliwanag ng QC LGU sa hakbang ni Belmonte, “is consistent with the city government’s policy of going after violators of established health and safety protocols as well as to hold them accountable for their actions, regardless of status or position.”

Muling ipinaalala ni Belmonte sa mga residente ng lungsod, maging sa kanilang mga opisyal, na kakasuhan ang sinumang lumabag sa health regulations at maglalagay sa panganib sa mga residente.
