DFA naghain ng diplomatic protest laban sa China, Chinese vessels pinaaatras na

Naghain ng diplomatic protest ang Department of Foreign Affairs dahil sa patuloy na deployment ng Chinese maritime assets sa bisinidad ng Pag-asa Islands.

Ayon sa DFA, bukod sa deployment, ipinoprotesta rin ng Pilipinas ang matagal ng presensya at illegal na aktibidad ng Chinese maritime assets sa naturang lugar.

Hinihiling din ng DFA na i-withdraw na ang China ang kanilang mga barko sa naturang lugar.

“The Department of Foreign Affairs lodged a diplomatic protests yesterday against the incessant deployment, prolonged presence and illegal activities of Chinese maritima assets and fishing vessels in the vicinity of the Pag-asa Islands, demanding that China withdraw these vessels,” pahayag ng DFA.

Iginiit pa ng DFA na integral part ng Pilipinas ang Pag-asa Islands.

“The Pag-asa Islands is an integral part of the Philippines over which has sovereignty and jurisdiction,” pahayag ng DFA.

Matatandaang ilang beses nang naghain ng diplomatic protest ang Pilipinas laban sa China dahil sa patuloy na pangangamkam ng huli ng teritoryo.
