Ipagpapatuloy ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) road maintenance works sa Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) at Circumferential Road 5 (C-5) sa Quezon City ngayong weekend.
Magsisimula ang road repair sa 11:00, Biyernes ng gabi (May 28).
Base sa ulat ni DPWH – National Capital Region (NCR) Director Eric Ayapana, sinabi ni DPWH Secretary Mark Villar na isasagawa ang aktibidad sa bahagi ng northbound direction ng EDSA, malapit sa corner Kaingin Road.
Reblocking activities naman ang gagawin sa northbound section ng C-5 Road simula pagkatapos ng C.P. Garcia, ikatlong lane mula sa sidewalk; matapos ang Rajah Matanda, ikatlong lane mula sa sidewalk; at pagkatapos ng Highland Drive, ikalawang lane mula sa sidewalk.
Sa ilalim ng implementasyon ng DPWH Quezon City 2nd District Engineering Office, binigyan ng clearance ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ang road repair works.
Inabisuhan naman ang mga motorista na pansamantalang dumaan sa mga alternatibong ruta.
Muling bubuksan ang mga apektadong kalsada sa 5:00, Lunes ng madaling-araw, May 31.
