DOLE, nagpatupad ng temporary deployment ban sa Saudi Arabia

Biglang nagpatupad ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) ng pansamantalang deployment ban sa Saudi Arabia.

Ayon kay Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III, kaugnay ito ng mga natatanggap nilang ulat kung saan ang overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) ang nagbabayad ng kanilang swab test, quarantine at iba pang health protocols pagpasok sa naturang bansa.

Sinabi ng kalihim na “until further notice” epektibo ang naturang deployment ban.

Dismayado naman ang ilang OFWs sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) na bibiyahe na sana patungong Riyadh sa araw ng Biyernes, May 28.
