Height requirement sa mga mag-a-apply sa PNP, BJMP, BFP, BuCor, binabaan

Magandang balita para sa mga gustong magpulis pero kapos sa tangkad. Pirmado na kasi ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang bagong batas na Republic Act no. 11549  na nagbababa sa minimum height requirement ng mga aplikante ng Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, at Bureau of Corrections (BuCor). Sa ilalim ng batas, mula sa kasalukuyang 1.62 meters para sa mga lalaking aplikante, ibinaba na ang minimun height requirement sa 1.57 meters Mula naman sa kasalukuyang 1.57 meters na minimum height para sa mga babaeng aplikante, ibinaba na ito sa 1.52 meters. Ang Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG),  Civil Service Commission, National Police Commission,  PNP, BFP, BJMP at BuCor ang babalangkas sa implementing rules and regulations. Pinirmahan ni Pangulong Duterte ang bagong batas noong May 26, 2021. Magiging epekitbo ang batas  labing limang araw matapos mailathala sa mga pahayagan
