Int’l flights patungong Mactan-Cebu Airport, pinapa-divert sa NAIA mula May 29 – June 5

Ipinag-utos ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang ang pagpapa-divert sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) ng lahat ng international flights na patungo sa Mactan-Cebu International Airport.

Sa inilabas na memorandum ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, nakasaad na base ito sa naging rekomendasyon ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF) sa kanilang Resolution No. 116-A, series of 2021 at upang maiwasan ang pagkalat ng COVID-19.

Nakasaad sa memorandum na epektibo ito simula 12:01, Sabado ng madaling-araw (May 29), hanggang 11:59, Sabado ng madaling-araw (June 5).

Pinatitiyak ng Palasyo sa Department of Transportation (DOTr), iba pang ahensya ng gobyerno at Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) ang maayos na diversion ng mga flight.

Samantala, ipinag-utos din ng Palasyo ang pagpapatupad ng testing at quarantine protocols sa lahat ng mga biyahero na galing sa ibang bansa.

“Heads of departments shall ensure that all offices and instrumentalities under or attached to their departments abide by this directive, while the DILG shall enforce compliance with respect to LGUs,” saad pa rito.
