P5-B dagdag pondo para sa repatriation ng mga OFW, aprub na ni Pangulong Duterte
Inaprubahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang karagdagang P5 bilyong pondo para sa overseas Filipino workers na umuuwi sa bansa dahil sa pandemya sa COVID-19.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, gagamitin ang pondo para sa repatriation ng mga OFW.
Gagamitin din aniya ang pondo sa pagbabayad sa mas mahabang quarantine sa mga OFW na umuuwi ng bansa.
“President Duterte approved the additiona P5 billion allocation for the repatriation of overseas Filipino workers as confirmed by Secretary Silvestre Bello,” pahayag ni Roque.
Matatandaang sagot ng pamahalaan ang gastusin sa quarantine ng mga OFW sa mga hotel pati na ang kanilang mga swab test.
