Isa katao, natukoy na sangkot sa umano’y pagbebenta ng COVID-19 vaccination slots
Nagbaba na ng direktiba si Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief General Guillermo Eleazar sa Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) at Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG) na mag-imbestiga upang matukoy ang nasa likod ng umano’y pagbebenta ng COVID-19 vaccine at vaccination slot sa vaccination program ng gobyerno.
Base sa inisyal na resulta ng imbestigasyon, sinabi ni Eleazar na may isa nang natukoy ang pulisya.
Nag-alok umano ito sa kaniyang high school friend ng dalawang brand ng bakuna para sa halagang P12,000 hanggang P15,500 sa pamamagitan ng social media messaging app.
Sinasabi rin aniya nito na mayroon siyang contacts sa San Juan at Mandaluyong LGUs kung kaya mabilis siyang makakakuha ng mga bakuna at masisiguro ang vaccination slots.
Nagpakita rin ito ng deposit slips bilang katibayan sa mga nagdaan nitong transkasyon.
“Our CIDG and ACG investigators are now zeroing in on this person, although he has already deactivated all his social media accounts, and we assure the public that he will face the full force of the law for this kind of illegal activity,” pahayag ng PNP Chief.
Umapela naman si Eleazar sa publiko na i-report, sa pamamagitan ng e-sumbong, ang anumang ilegal na transaksyon na may kinalaman sa pagbebenta ng bakuna at vaccination slots sa kanilang lugar.
Siniguro ng hepe ng PNP ang kanilang mabilis na aksyon.
“Your PNP would like to reiterate that the COVID-19 vaccination is free and any attempt to engage in selling the vaccines or vaccination slots, or be beneficiaries of these illegal activities, will only put you in trouble,” ani Eleazar.
Dagdag pa nito, “Let us work together to put a stop to these criminal practices which are plainly and simply evil and despicable, especially in this time of pandemic.”
