Mga atleta at coach na lalahok sa Tokyo Olympics at 2021 SEA Games, kasama na sa priority list ng COVID-19 vaccination

Inaprubahan na ng Inter-Agency Task Force ang hirit na isama sa priority list ng mga babakunahan kontra COVID-19 ang mga atleta at coach na lalahok sa Tokyo Olympics at 2021 Southeast Asian Games.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, ang technical working group ng interim National Immunization Technical Advisory Group ang nag-rekomenda sa IATF na gawing prayoridad ang mga atleta at coach.

“IATF approved the Technical Working Group’s recommendation to the Interim National Immunization Technical Advisory Group (iNITAG) to prioritize the vaccination of athletes, coaches, delegates and officials bound for the Tokyo Olympics and the South East Asian Games,” pahayag ni Roque.

Gagawin ang Olympics sa Tokyo, Japan sa Hulyo 23 habang gaganapin naman ang SEA Games sa Hanoi, Vietnam sa Nobyembre 21 hanggang Disyembre 2.

Kasama rin sa prayoridad na babakunahan ang mga delagado at opisyal na lalahok sa Olympics at SEA Games.
