P70-M halaga ng umano’y smuggled na face shield galing China, nasamsam sa Parañaque
Nadiskubre ng mga awtoridad ang milyun-milyong halaga ng hinihinalang peke at smuggled na face shield sa Parañaque City, Huwebes ng hapon (May 20).
Sanib-pwersa ang Bureau of Customs (BOC), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), at Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) sa isinagawang operasyon sa isang warehouse sa 83 Luzon Road, BF Homes dakong 4:30 ng hapon.
Tinatayang aabot sa P70 milyon ang halaga ng smuggled na “Heng De” face shield na galing China.
Hindi nakapasa ang nasabing personal protective equipment (PPE) sa inspeksyon at hindi rin deklarado ng Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) na ligtas itong gamitin.
Nakatakda itong sirain ng BOC matapos ang masusing imbestigasyon.
