Apat na Pinoy cadets, nagtapos sa U.S. Coast Guard Academy Class of 2021

Nagtapos ang apat na Filipino cadets sa U.S. Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) Class of 2021 sa New London, Connecticut noong Miyerkules, May 19, 2021.

Binati ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ang pagtatapos ng kanilang sponsored cadets na sina Genison Basilio, Eric Joseph Noble, Daisy Anne Atayan, at Dianne Shaira Basuel.

Kabilang si Basilio sa mga nagtapos na may honors.

Mismong si U.S. President Joe Biden naman ang nag-abot ng mga diploma sa mga kadete.

Oras na makabalik ng Pilipinas, sasalang ang apat na Filipino cadets sa Coast Guard Officer’s Course (CGOC) training para maging ganap na PCG commissioned officers.

Nasa 240 ang bilang ng mga nagtapos sa USCGA kabilang ang pitong international students.
