Light truck ban, muling ipapatupad sa EDSA at Shaw Boulevard

Ipagbabawal na muli ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority o MMDA ang pagdaan ng light trucks sa EDSA at Shaw Boulevard simula sa darating na Lunes, Mayo 24.

Sa inilabas na abiso ng MMDA, ang light truck ay ang may gross capacity weight na 4,500 kilograms.

Ang mga ito ay hindi maaring bumiyahe sa EDSA mula Magallanes sa Makati City hanggang North Avenue sa Quezon City mula 5:00 ng umaga hanggang 9:00 ng gabi.

Samantala, hindi sila maaring bumiyahe sa Shaw Boulevard mula Pasig City hanggang Mandaluyong City mula 6:00 ng umaga hanggang 10:00 ng umaga at mula 5:00 ng hapon hanggang 10:00 ng gabi.

Epektibo ang light truck ban mula Lunes hanggang Sabado.

Pagmumultahin ng P2,000 ang mga lalabag.
