P3.11-M halaga ng Ketamine party drugs na itinago sa pakete ng kape, nasamsam sa Caloocan

Nasabat ng Bureau of Customs – Port of NAIA (BOC-NAIA) ang 622 gramo ng Ketamine “party drugs” sa ikinasang joint controlled delivery operations sa Caloocan City, Lunes ng hapon (May 17, 2021).

Tinatayang aabot sa P3,110,000 ang halaga ng nakumpiskang ilegal na droga ng BOC katuwang ang Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), at NAIA Inter-agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG).

Bandang 2:00 ng hapon, nahuli ang isang “Kristopher Segumbang” matapos i-claim ang package.

Si Segumbang ang awtorisadong representante ng consignee na si “Nick Dimagiba.”

Base sa record ng BOC, dumating ang package mula Malaysia noong May 10, 2021 at idineklara ito bilang “snacks.”

Inisyal na nadiskubre ang party drugs nang isailalim sa non-intrusive x-ray scanning ang package sa pamamagitan ng X-ray Inspection Project (XIP NAIA) at K-9 sweeping.

Nang dumaan sa physical examination, natagpuan ang 15 pakete ng white coffee na naglalaman ng ilegal na droga.

Sa ngayon, nasa kustodiya ng PDEA ang si Segumbang at ang nasamsam na party drugs para sa case building at pagsasampa ng kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 na may kinalaman sa Section 1401 ng Republic Act 10863 o Customs Modernization and Tariff Act.
